Maintaining the safety of Information Technology Infrastructure is vital to the educational, research and operational missions of SJSU

The Information Security Office oversees the SJSU community's efforts to:

• Protect information assets and to comply with information-related laws, regulations and policies.
• Promotes quality and integrity of information security throughout the university.
• Builds a culture of Information Security

This office reports to the University's AVP of Information Technology Services.
